Vision
The Department strives towards transacting basic and applied science activities encompassing the systematic study of
the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation, experiment, and personal experiences.
Mission
The department makes the students aware of eco-friendly farming and organic food. The department organizes various academic
activities viz. lectures, plantations, conservation of environment activities, field visits, Eco Club activities, quizzes, etc.
The curriculum of the department has changed from time to time, keeping the requirement of students of today’s world in focus.
The Department of Science prepares the students to have analytical thinking, to be observant, to have a
rationalistic approach, to value and conserve natural resources, and to be sensitive towards agrarian society.
